Happy Easter from Generation Joshua!
This Sunday, we celebrate the most momentous event in world history. We celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, from the dead.
John 3:16 is one of the most famous passages from Scripture. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
In a world that is full of hurt, pain, and sorrow, God loved us so much that He gave us Jesus. Jesus—fully God and yet fully man—lived a sinless life, and then took the punishment on the cross that our sins deserved. He suffered and died for us.
But that’s not the end of the story. Easter Sunday is the day when Jesus rose from the dead almost 2,000 years ago, conquering sin and death. 1 Corinthians 15:54b sums up this triumph: “‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’” If we surrender our lives to God and accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, then despite the sorrows and tribulations of life, we know that we will spend eternity with Christ. We win at the end.
Here at Generation Joshua, we’re passionate about what we do because we have seen the transforming work of Jesus Christ in our own lives. We know that it’s not politics that will transform lives; it’s salvation through Jesus Christ. As Christians, we have the duty—and high honor—of sharing Christ with those around us, and of diving into politics and culture to humbly shine the love of Jesus in every corner of our world.
Have a blessed Holy Week as we remember the life, death, and resurrection of the greatest servant leader of all time: Jesus Christ.
Stay Strong and Courageous,
